Application Requirements

1.    A bachelor’s degree preferably in the biological or physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, economics or other related fields

2.   General weighted average of 2.5 or better in the undergraduate degree

3.   Application documents to be submitted to the Department Chair(for the issuance of the Notice of Admission to the MSES Program):

•   Completed application form;

•   Original copy of the official transcript of records;

•   Recommendation letters from at least two former professors or immediate supervisors;

•   Statement of Purpose (300-500 word essay on applicant’s academic, professional,

•   and personal intentions and objectives or any special interest; reasons for transfer from other graduate school);

4.   Application fee: A non-refundable fee of PhP 250.00 to be paid at the UP Cebu Cash Office; or send acheck or money order to “University of Philippines Cebu” (Application will be processed once application fee is paid.)

Deadlines

First semester admission – 2 weeks before enrollment period

(no second semester admission)

Enrollment: July or Aug (1stsem) /January (2ndsem)

Registration Requirements

place the following inside a long brown envelope and submit to the College Secretary & Registrar’s Office upon enrollment

1.    Notice of Admission issued by the Department Chair after the submission and evaluation of documents for Program Admission

2.   2×2 ID photo (3 copies)

3.   Honourable dismissal from school last attended (1 original & 1 photocopy)

4.   Transcript of records (1 original & 3 photocopies)

5.   Birth certificate (NSO authenticated, 1 original & 3 photocopies)

6.   Marriage contract (for married female only, 3 copies)

7.   Medical clearance to be issued by UP Cebu clinic (after presenting X-ray, CBC, urinalysis, and blood typing results)
