How to Apply

a. Requirements

• Recommendation from two (2) former professors or experts in the field
• Application Form
• Personal Essay 

Write a 1 or 2-page (letter-sized, Arial 11pt) essay about your interest in pursuing a graduate degree in UP Cebu. Include in your essay the following information:

• Your reason for taking MS Computer Science. What purpose does a graduate degree serve you in your profession?
• Your research experience or projects developed and the insights you gained from these experiences.
• Your research interest or the project that you would like to work on during your graduate studies. Submit a pdf copy of your essay.
• Transcript of Records
• Passport-size Photo

b. Submission of Application Document

Email applications documents to Prof. Robert Roxas, MSCS Program Coordinator, at [email protected],cc: [email protected]

c. Processing of Application

Allow at least 5 to 15 working days for the Program Coordinator to check and verify the information and documents submitted. An email notification will be sent to the applicant about the status of the application and other instructions.

d. Interview

Some applicants will be notified of an interview that is scheduled around July 20-22, 2024. The interview will be done through video conference together with the Graduate Program Committee.

e. Release of application results

The results for all applicants will be released on August 5, 2024, through email.
