The UP Cebu Mathematics and Statistics Programs (MaSP) is now accepting applications for MS MATH for the first semester of AY 2024-2025. The deadline for the application is July 19, 2024.

The program is designed for those who want to pursue advanced knowledge in mathematics with the intent of going into academia, industry research, college teaching, and related fields. The MS Math program offers three tracks: pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and mathematics education. This gives students opportunities to pursue their diverse interests in theoretical mathematics, applied mathematics, or mathematics teaching.

Applicants must have finished a baccalaureate degree in pure or applied mathematics or related fields, including but not limited to engineering, mathematics education, statistics, computer science, physics, accounting, and economics. Moreover, applicants must have a general weighted average of 2.50 or its equivalent in all mathematics courses taken at the undergraduate level.
