Alumni from the Mathematics Program and Department of Computer Science donated gadgets and other remote learning resources to College of Science students in need. The Mathematics program was able to raise money for 17 tablets, WiFi dongles and mobile data for internet connectivity. The Department of Computer Science raised money to buy P 24,000 worth of mobile data, 3 LTE WiFI routers and 2 Laptops.
The pandemic has been challenging for everyone, especially the students who are still adjusting to remote learning delivery. Their families are also bearing the weight of financial burden brought on by the situation.
All of us in the College of Science are grateful to the kind people who have opened their hearts to help our students.
