NCPM Laboratory inspection and ibc orientation at university of the philippines cebu

Our laboratory facilities underwent a comprehensive inspection by the National Committee on Biosafety of the Philippines (DOST-NCBP) on September 14, 2023. This pivotal evaluation was carried out with the objective of certifying our labs for Biosafety Level (BSL) 1 and BSL 2.

Furthermore, on September 15, 2023, we had an IBC orientation led by the DOST-NCBP, to discuss the vital steps towards the establishment of an Institutional Biosafety Committee here at the University of the Philippines Cebu.
